He arrived there in August 1942 and stayed until mid-1943, when it was no longer possible for him to remain. He was then brought to the van Meerveld* family, also through the Hein group. On May 23, 1979, Yad Vashem recognized Andries van der Brink and his wife, Wijmpje van der Brink-van den Ham, as Righteous Among the Nations. |
