First they hid Ida Kattenburg-Dahl, and later Rudolph Hartog Jacobsen, who had been forced to leave the PlatteelsÂ’* home after the hideout was discovered and his host arrested. Rudolph was fortunate to find the Hanevelds, who afforded him shelter until the end of the war. Rudolph maintained a warm relationship with them even after the war. On November 30, 1977, Yad Vashem recognized Leendert Pieter Haneveld and his wife, Johanna Maria Helena Haneveld-Molenkamp, as Righteous Among the Nations |
