Rudolph and Jeannette (Jeanne) Bunge lived in Amsterdam with the family of their daughter, Elisabeth Cijfer-Bunge*. During the war, this whole family worked together to help save the life of Hilde Herzberg, whom they hid in their home for almost two years.
On December 11, 1975, Yad Vashem recognized Rudolph Emil Bunge and his wife, Jeannette Catherine Bunge-Dammers, as Righteous Among the Nations.
